The Morning Sun Fiber Barn is a fiber mill here to do the custom processing of your fibers. We specialize in fine & dual coated fibers, but do all kinds, such as goat, sheep, llama, alpaca, & bunny. We have no minimums (see our price sheet). We are Sharon & David Lawson living on an acreage in rural Iowa with 30 pygora goats (a cross between angora & pygmy). We have been raising pygora’s for around 12 years, and working with fiber about 15 years, which includes spinning, weaving, knitting, & dying fibers. We have a dehairer for customers with dual coated animals, or animals with a lot of guard hair, such as cashmere, pygora, llama, & others. We also produce cottage spun yarns in all weights from your fibers. We are up with the “morning sun” to process your fiber into, batts, rovings, clouds, what ever pleases you! |
